The future site of Veteran Memorial Gardens will be situated on Swansboro Loop Road in Swansboro. The memorial will feature eight granite columns that together will depict the Stars and Stripes on one side and etched quotes on the other. Six of the eight columns—which stand 10 feet tall-- will be affixed with an armed service logo.
The memorial will be free and open to the public.
The memorial will include eight granite pillars that represent the strength and resilience of those who serve
and sacrifice for our country. It will also include a paved walkway and reflective benches.

“ There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism.” Alexander Hamilton
The Garden
As you stand before the pine trees, and the sun crests in front of the pillars for one moment you are in awe as you reflect and remember the actions of the men and women that have come before us. We hope you are inspired by the sacrifice by them and their loved ones.
